QB Carson Wentz appears to be healthy and has 2,148 yards passing and 15 touchdowns, but he can’t do it alone. Golden Tate, recently acquired via trade with Detroit, was used on only 18 snaps in last week’s loss to Dallas. That is going to have to change if the Eagles are going to make a run at the postseason. The Saints offense is loaded with veteran QB Drew Brees at the controls. Brees has completed 77.3 percent of his passes for 2,601 yards and 21 touchdowns.
Detroit Lions Vs Rams: Week 7 Betting Odds, Spread, And Prediction
Still, Cam Newton has been awful lately – he has twice as many interceptions as touchdowns and has a passer rating of 79.6, the seventh-lowest among qualified passers per ESPN. I don’t trust New England to put informative post up points with their current personnel, and the Bills should get the win by a comfortable margin as they surge toward the #2 seed in the AFC. Las Vegas suffered its first loss of the season, 28-14, against the Chargers. The Raiders were much more limited offensively than in previous weeks. Derek Carr’s 196 passing yards were a far cry from the 401 he’d been averaging over his first three games.
Green Bay @ Washington
Overs are 4-2 in Browns games this season, which are averaging 51 points. Denver started this season 3-0, beating three teams – the Giants, Jaguars, and my review here Jets – who are a combined 3-14. The Broncos then lost to Baltimore 23-7, to Pittsburgh 27-19, and now to Las Vegas. Not only that, but there’s a chance Las Vegas plays well below their talent-level after such a stunning road win versus division rival Denver.
The last time the Saints won in Atlanta was the final game of the 2015 season, a low-scoring victory. Head coach Dan Quinn certainly has the weapons to score points. Quarterback Matt Ryan has thrown for 3,057 yards and 16 touchdowns. Running backs Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman are equally capable and WR Julio Jones (68 rec., 1,063 yds.) remains one of the best receivers in the game. The two games, one in 2009 and the other in 2013, were both played in Texas. The last two times that the teams have played in Oakland , the Raiders were victorious.
The Kansas City Chiefs and the Tennessee Titans will lock horns on Sunday in a game that has ingredients to make this one a high-scoring affair. The pass-catchers helped Smith out quite a bit in Week 6, as they produced 11 broken or missed tackles on 23 receptions. Through six weeks they have the highest rate of broken/missed tackles per reception in the NFL. Seattle will need that kind of effort against the defense that yielded ten missed/broken tackles to Saquon Barkley and Kadarius Toney a couple weeks ago but has otherwise tackled well. These two teams sit at the bottom of the pressure rate leaderboard defensively, and that’s great news for both quarterbacks. The Saints come into Seattle with as much rest as you can get, coming off a bye on Monday night.
Taking Advantage Of The Cardinals Long Super Bowl 56 Odds
Tennessee hosts Ole Miss on Saturday night with the total set at 83 points! San Jose State QB Nick Starkel did not play in the Spartans’ loss to Colorado State. Army +14 at Wisconsin – This is really a “nothing” game for Wisconsin, which points me to Army. The matchup is tough for the Cadets, though, as the Badgers are impossible to run on.
The speedy Tyreek Hill has 16 receptions for 253 yards and two scores and TE Travis Kelce has 14 catches and one touchdown. Kelce has even lined up at quarterback in certain situations as Kansas City offensive coordinator Matt Nagy has put together one of the most unique offenses in the NFL. After two straight losses, Dallas rebounded with a victory over winless San Francisco. Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott totaled 219 yards and three touchdowns in the victory. Head coach Jason Garrett will have his star for at least one more week while the legal system deals with his suspension. That means the Cowboys will have Elliott when they take on NFC East rival Washington on Sunday.
I can see this being a high-scoring game, but the total of 57.5 is a bit steep. I might take the total down and parlay it with the Chiefs on the ML. After slugging around in the first half last week, the Chiefs finally got their act together in the second half against Washington, scoring 21 unanswered points en route to a thorough victory. The Titans earned their best win of the season, handing the Bills their second loss of the year last week on Monday Night Football. King Henry will probably run wild once again against a weak Chiefs run defense, but A.J. Toss in the fact that the Titans are on a short week and coming off a crazy emotional victory and this is a big time sell high spot, and I’ll be doing just that.
The Buccaneers will be without Jude Adjei-Barimah, their nickel cornerback, as he begins a four-game suspension this week. Head coach Dirk Koetter will also likely be without corner Brent Grimes, a Pro Bowler last year, who injured a quad in the win over the Chiefs. Playing without those two in the secondary could spell disaster for a team that ranks near the bottom of the league in most defensive statistical categories. Oakland has not beaten Carolina since 2004 and that game was in Charlotte. The Raiders have only beaten the Panthers once in Oakland and that was way back in 2000. Oakland got five touchdown passes from Rich Gannon and won 52-9.
